I’m continuing my series on the core principles of good government—and how they’ll shape my leadership on City Council.

Today’s focus: smart investments. 

In a small city like ours, every dollar truly counts. With a tight budget, rising debt, and big infrastructure decisions ahead, we have to be strategic.

That means:

✅ Prioritizing high-impact projects

✅ Going after more grants

✅ Building partnerships to ease the tax burden

✅ Equipping city staff to better serve the public

If I’m elected, I’ll make sure the budget reflects what residents actually value—and what we can afford.

Smart spending isn’t just good policy. It’s essential.
